Beloved, now we are the children of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that when He appears we will be like Him; for we will see Him as He is.

The kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared and according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ our Savior.

Being justified by His grace we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know His will, see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth.  For thou shalt be His witness unto all, of what thou hast seen and heard.

And now why tarriest thou?  Arise, be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure.

To as many as receive Him and believe in His name, He gave the right to become children of God: born not of the will of man, but of God.

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus manifested His glory and His disciples believed in Him.

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name.  Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.
