Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they saw a man clothed in a long white robe, who said, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! Go tell His disciples; you will see Him in Galilee, as He told you.” He appeared first to Mary Magdalene. After that, He appeared to two of them walking in the country. Later, He appeared to the disciples at the table. After the Lord spoke to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
