I remember you in my prayers. And I always thank my God for you because I hear about the love you have for all of God’s holy people and the faith you have in the Lord Jesus. I pray that the faith you share will make you understand every blessing we have in Christ. You have shown love to God’s people, and your help has greatly encouraged them. What a great joy and encouragement that has been to me.
No chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
The Lord delivered us, saved us, and called us with a holy calling because of His purpose and grace granted to us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Our God is the God of salvation; and to God the Lord belong escapes from death.
Accept God’s salvation as your helmet. And take the sword of the Spirit—that sword is the teaching of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times. Pray with all kinds of prayers, and ask for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready. Never give up. Always pray for all of God’s people.
When they gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and how He had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.
After the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
