Lamplighters

During the meal Jesus got up, removed his outer garment, and wrapped a towel around his waist.   He put some water into a large bowl.  Then he began washing his disciples’ feet and drying them with the towel.

As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”  Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.  For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

My heart is steadfast, O God. My heart is steadfast.  I will sing and I will make music.

One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.

“Concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you never read what was spoken to you by God: ‘I am the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob’?  He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into an high mountain apart, and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!
