Lamplighters

I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord.  They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.

Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Intelligent people think before they speak;  what they say is then more persuasive.  Kind words are like honey—sweet to the taste and good for your health

They cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivers them out of their afflictions.  He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.  Then they are glad because they are at rest;  so he brings them into the haven of his will.

John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:  he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Praise the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, praise His holy name!  Praise the Lord, O my soul and forget none of His acts of kindness.   He forgives all my sins.  He heals all my diseases.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

The righteous should choose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “the one who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
