Lamplighters

Create in me a pure heart, O God.  Renew an unwavering spirit within me.

Is any sick among you?  Call the elders of the church and let them pray over you, anointing you in the name of the Lord:  and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise them up;  and if sins were committed, they shall be forgiven.   Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed.  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

You show that you are a letter from Christ, delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

Jesus said, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your being, and with all your mind.   This is the first and greatest commandment.   And the second is like it:  You must love your neighbor as you love yourself.   All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.”

Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;  who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.   Moses , Aaron  and Samuel called upon the Lord, and he answered them.  He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar:  they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
