Lamplighters

Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.  The old has passed away;  behold, the new has come.

And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God.

For the Lord will not forsake his people;  he will not abandon his heritage;  for justice will return to the righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.

Pray for kings and others in power, so that we may live quiet and peaceful lives as we worship and honor God.

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?  Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem. Saying, “Where is he that is born King of the Jews?  For we have seen his star in the east, and have come to worship him.”

And the angel said unto them, “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

The Lord himself shall give you a sign;  behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
