Lamplighters

Put all things to the test:  keep what is good, and avoid every kind of evil.

O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

So we have the prophetic word made more certain. You do well to pay close attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and light breaks through the gloom and the morning star arises in your hearts.

“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.”

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”  Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.  This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.  I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

“Take my yoke upon you.  Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”

Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart.

Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent.

Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
